Charada Chiaroscuro Anhelo Callado

Alonso has been playing guitar since 1986, and began playing Flamenco/Latin guitar in 1992. He integrated Latin guitar styles such as Bossa Nova and Mexican into his playing as well.

In his playing style, Alonso brings technique, dynamics, excitement, passion, and expression to the fold. He has played numerous events such as art openings, weddings, coffee houses, and private parties in his career.

The music Alonso performs in the Flamenco/Latin style is a blend of both traditional flamenco forms, as well as modern popular music done in the style of Flamenco. These include such classics as "Girl From Ipanema" "La Bamba," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman."

He also performs solo jazz guitar as well, doing arrangements of some of the greatest jazz standards in history from the 30's, 40's 50's, and 60's. These include timeless classics such as "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," "Georgia On My Mind," "Take Five," "So What," and "Satin Doll."
